Ja’Quan D. Linzy, 26, of Hampton, Virginia, departed to eternal life at home Monday, February 17, 2020. He was born February 10, 1994, in Richmond, Virginia, to his caring and remarkable parents, Kevin S. Linzy and Sokola West Linzy. He was a 2016 graduate of Phoebus High School, Hampton. If you knew Ja’Quan, more than likely you called him “Mushi” or “Dink”. He is remembered for his infectious laugh and smile, cuddles and great love for music.
Ja’Quan has transitioned in life to be with his dad, Kevin Linzy; maternal grandparents, Walter and Deloris Cooper West; and a host of relatives
He leaves to cherish and carry on the precious memories, a loving, devoted mother, Sokola West Linzy, who took care of him without complaining once; three cardinal siblings, Montrel Royal(Stephanie), Misha Gohlstin and Shana Linzy; grandparents, Sandra Callion and Rodney Jones, Sr.; three nieces, Essence, Emmarie, Khari; three nephews, Kaiden, Cory, Ehrian; a maternal aunt, Eletia Phifer(Dennis); paternal aunts and uncle, Meagan and Rodney Jones Jr., Katie Callion, Lori Linzy, Stacey Dority, and Amari McKinnon; an adoring Godmother, Lesha Jones(Keith) and a host of other family and friends.
Viewing for Mr. Linzy will be held from 10:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
Entombment for Mr. Linzy will follow at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2551 N Armistead Ave. Hampton, Virginia.
