Mr. Esstease Joseph Bellamy

Mr.   Esstease Joseph “Tee” Bellamy, eldest son of Lewis and Elizabeth Mitchell, entered into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on September 1, 2020 at home.  He grew up in Phoebus where he attended Hampton public schools.  Esstease was a member of First Baptist King Street Church.  Esstease worked at Hampton Institute’s cafeteria and on various scallop boats as a commercial fisherman.

Esstease leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Lewis and Elizabeth Mitchell; his sons Emile Domingue (Stephanie) of Arlington VA and Kenya Domingue of Hampton VA; his brother Lewis “Peanut” Mitchell (Brenda) of Richardsville VA; his significant other Cheryl Domingue of Hampton VA; his aunts Louise Bellamy of Hampton VA and Odessa Hawkins (Frederick) of Hampton VA; his grandchildren Memuri and Markel Domingue of Hampton VA; his special nephew Floyd Jones, Jr. of Hampton VA; his cousin/brother David Bellamy (Joyce) of NC; a host of other relatives, and family friends who will keep his memory in their hearts forever.

Viewing for Mr. Bellamy will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. No more than 10 attendees will be allowed in the viewing area at anytime. Face mask are required for entry into the funeral home and Social Distancing will be enforced.
