Mr. Edward M. Dunn

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Edward Marcel Dunn, who touched the lives of many during his 46 years with us, born on August 16, 1979, to Ralph and Cora Dunn in Newport News, VA. Edward Marcel Dunn departed on December 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Edward Marcel Dunn (A.K.A Eddie, Ed, or Marcel), depending on your relationship with him, was the devoted husband of Naneesha Dunn, loving father to Prophet Mason, Bishop Dunn, Messiah Dunn, Blessings Dunn, and Serenity Dunn.

He was the beloved son-in-law of Sherry Minor of Newport News, VA, he was the big/little brother and confidant to Erronda Mears (Harley Mears) of Hampton, VA, Gustin Smith (Rakisha Smith) of Newport News, VA, and Shannon Dunn (Jamel Walme') of Newport News, VA. Edward was also deeply loved by his aunts and uncles who preceded him in death and also those who are still here, who played meaningful roles throughout his life, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Ed had a profound impact on all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Our deepest gratitude goes to everyone for their support and condolences. May Edward Marcel Dunn rest in eternal peace.
