Mr. Dorsey Lee Mason departed this life on February 13, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories a wife Mary Stephenson of Newport News, Virginia. The mother of his children and ex-wife Laura Mason of Newport News, Virginia, two sons Derrick Mason of Newport News, Virginia and Rydell Mason of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two daughters Mary Thornton of Newport News, Virginia and Lakisha Vinson of Hampton, Virginia; three sisters Phyllis Spurill and Helen Porter of Newport News, Virginia and Nellie Hicks of California and a host of grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, a very special nephew Curtez Harris whom Dorsey called "Tazz"  and a host of loving in-laws

Viewing for Mr. Mason will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Graveside services for Mr. Mason are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2700 Parish Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607.
