Obituary

 

Mr. Dexter Kydarren Hardy, son of Claude Jr. and the late Gloria Hardy entered into eternal rest at his home in Newport News, Virginia.

He was born October 13, 1969 in Newport News, Virginia and received his education in the Newport News Public School System.


Dexter had a keen sense of humor and loved to joke and have fun. Dexter was well liked by many people. He enjoyed cooking out on the grill and having friends over to enjoy it with him. He was a good cook and could grill a perfect steak. Dexter was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend. He will forever be loved, cherished and missed.

Dexter is preceded in death by his mother Gloria Hardy; aunts Jean M. Deloatch, Delores P. Carter, Dorothy Hardy and Rosa B. Coley; uncles James Hardy, Bud W. Hardy, Willie Perry and Wesley Carter; cousins Rozina C. Williams and Derrick Carter.

Dexter leaves to cherish his memories his father Claude Hardy Jr.; brothers Claude Hardy III, Timothy Hardy, Michael Pierce and James Pierce; eight aunts; one uncle on the Hardy side; aunt Daisy Hines (Earl) as well as a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends and his dear friends Antoine Mayo and Jeffrey Oaks

 

A memorial service for Mr. Hardy is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at The Sixth House Inc., 2003 Kecoughtan Road, Hampton, VA.

 

It is the desire of the Hardy family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

 

The family of Mr. Dexter Hardy has entrusted his final care to the staff of C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
