Deshawn Antonio Robinson was born February 9, 1983 and entered eternal rest on October 21, 2019. He graduated from Menchville High School, and worked for Solo Inc., for eight years. His last job was Hampton University Culinary Arts. Deshawn was laid back, friendly and looked at "No one as a strnger". He loved his girls unconditionally and went above and beyond for family and friends. Deshawn had his own personal relationship with each and everyone he encountered. He was well loved and he was a caring son.
He was perceded in death by his grandfather Dennis Roberts, one uncle Donnell Roberts, his paternal grandparents Roy and Magaleen Peele and three brothers Anthony Robinson, Rodney Mings and Deandre Bethe.
Left to cherish and honor Deshawn's memories, his loving daughters Shemiah Robinson Miller, Kayla Banks and Takiera Hunt, his devoted parents, Kimberly and Lonnell Roberts, Sr., and his biological father Rodney Peele. Deshawn also leaves behind one brother Lonnell Roberts, Jr. (Angel), five sisters, Lakieshia Johnson, Amelia Branch (Antonio), Andrea Robinson, Kimberly Robinson and Shanell Roberts, three half-brothers, Corey Washington, Sean Washington and Roderick Greene, two half- sisters, Larquita Smith and Stephanie Gilbert. Grandmothers Helen Robinson (GilbertLee) and Carolyn Roberts, uncles Eric "Boobie" Robinson (Stephanie), Jermaine Robinson (Shawnette), Lamont Robinson, Marcus Salusby, Randolph Peele and Rudolph Peele. Aunts Cecily Doles Woods, Vernice Gatling, Vivian Smallwood and Vicki Peele Muhammed. Deshawn's memory will also be cherished by his extended family Charles Driggins (Tracey), Breon Driggins, Dannie and Deyanis Fary and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing for the late Mr. Deshawn Antonio Robinson will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2019 at Restoration & Faith Ministry, 2114 Wickham Ave Newport News, Virginia by Pastor Thurman R. Leonard.
Per request of the family interment will be private.
