Deonta Naim Harrington, affectionately known as “Boo Boo,” passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 34. Born to Lekeshia Harrington and Gregory Davis on January 16, 1992, in Newport News, Virginia, Deonta attended Warwick High School.
Deonta was a humble gentleman, yet the flyest guy in the room. Universally loved and respected, Deonta was preceded in death by his late grandparents, Brenda Smith and Gregory Walcott. An extremely hard worker, Deonta was employed as a ventilation specialist for Newport News Shipbuilding. He previously worked at Smithfield Packing and Cracker Barrel, among other customer-facing jobs.
A dedicated father loved by his entire family, Deonta will be sorely missed by his son, Naim Kai Harrington (Kendra), grandparents Michael Rockett (Ava) and Dorleen Harrington-Crews (Sherman), his father, Gregory Davis, his loving mother, Lekeshia Mechelle Harrington, siblings, Vanashya Gaines, Veyonce Gaines, Armina Jones, Destiny Davis, Jaleel Davis, and Te’Yana Lassiter, niece Londyn Gaffney, nephew Deon Janifer, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was also loved and respected by his right-hand man, Leander Lee Marsh.
Deonta will forever live in our hearts and memories.
It is the desire of the Harrington family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
