Mr. Daquon Navèon Lyons, of Smithfield, Virginia, gained his wings at the tender age of 25 on Thursday April 8, 2021. Daquon was born on December 4, 1995 to Tamika Cooper in Newport News, VA. He was a 2015 graduate of Smithfield High School. Daquon who was affectionately known as "Munchkin and Dae-Dae" to his family and close friends. He was the sweetest, most respectful and well-mannered young king you would ever meet. He always greeted you with that "million dollar" smile and affectionate hug. Without a doubt, in his presence you felt his love. He always told his cousins "Love You Cuzzo" whenever he left. He was loved by many, even in the community. He loved playing football and basketball and even made Smithfield Highlights. Daquon was loved by many and many loved him.
Daquon is preceded in death by his Grandmother Sarah Johnson and his Great Aunt Jacqueline Deloatch. He is survived by his Mother Tamika Cooper,(Hampton, VA) Father; Clarence Lyons, Siblings; Deshawn Lyons, Dequashia Womack, Diamond Cooper and Devon Cooper (Smithfield, VA), Grandparents; Hattie Cooper and Iris Bailey (Smithfield, VA), Calvin Fletcher Jr (Hampton, VA), Great Grandmother; Thelma Deloatch (Hampton, VA) aunts, many cousins and a host of many family and friends. Although we wanted Daquon to still be here with us, God needed him more so we will continue to live our lives through his memories and the unconditional love he showed to everyone. From here it won't be a goodbye but instead he will forever be with us until we meet again
