Mr. Christopher Alston Obituary
Christopher Jerod Alston was born October 25, 1969, in Newport News, VA. He departed this life on June 25, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father Henry Daniels, his mother Jerotha Diane Alston, his grandfather James Alston, and great- grandmother Virear Hudson.
Christopher AKA " Boobie" graduated from Ferguson High school in 1988. He worked as a landscaper for many years. Christopher was known for his great sense of humor, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He loved his family very much. Christopher enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing horse shoes, and spending time with his family. We will never forget how much he loved football, he was a die-hard Cowboys fan.
Christopher leaves to cherish his memories, his loving son Brian Jerod Alston; two devoted brothers Howard Leon Alston (Connie Johnson) special friend; and Phillip Young (Dee-Dee). One caring sister Kimberly Hurley (Michael) of Hampton, VA; his loving grandmother Hattie R. Hatchett of Newport News, VA; one dedicated uncle Simon Vernon ( Beverly McDanielle) special friend of Newport News, VA; two faithful aunts Evelyn E. Alston of Hampton, VA; and Barbara A. Alston of Newport News, VA; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
The Hatchett and Alston family wishes to thank everyone for the calls, flowers, and expressions of sympathy.
Viewing for Mr. Alston will be held from noon until 5 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019, at C.C.Carter Funeral Home. Inc.
Services for Mr. Alston will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Living Waters Redeemed Apostolic Church of Christ, 617 48th St
Newport News, Virginia by Elder Eric Jackson.
