Obituary

Born April 9, 1959 Charlie Robert Hill or as the family would call him 'Junie" was the first born child of Mary and Charlie Hill in South Hi, Virginia. After the family relocated to Hampton, Virginia, he attended the Virginia Deaf and Blind School where he graudated.

He also followed his mother and became a member of Wt Morian RZ.U.A. Church where he gave his life to Christ. With the talents that God gave him he started to sing with the Byrd's Male Chorus, but did not stop there.

He was one of the original members of the Crystal Lites and then joined the MellowTones of Hampton, Virginia. He loved
singing quartet. Willie Banks and the Messengers, The Willams Brothers, and The Canton Spirituals were his faworite groups.

Even though he was legally blind, Junie did not allow anyone to treat him as it he was handicapned. June was very independent and proved that he could handle his own. He loved his family and wanted to be an inspiration to them all.

He had a great sense of humor and could joke with the best of them. Also, Junie was a punctual man. He liked everything to be on time. During his final days he stated "I have given it all to God and whatever happens to me, it is in his will"

He is survived by his sister Jacqueline and brothers Thomas (Roberta), Monte (Kalisha), and Charleston (Jessica) as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
