Mr. Cedric Breyan Carter

Mr. Cedric Breyan Carter "CJ" was born in the early hours of June 22, 1996 to Cedric L. Carter and Marquita L. Johnson. He departed this earthly life suddenly to a peaceful place in the early morning hours on May 12, 2019. 

Cedric Jr. was a talented individual and his personality endeared him to many.

CJ was educated in the Hampton Public School System graduating from Phoebus High School. At the time of his death, CJ enjoyed skate boarding, venturing to the mountains with his friend Johnny. Bet a lot of you didn't know CJ was in the process of writing a book. In the meantime he was employed at Venture Kitchen and Bar, Downtown Hampton. 

CJ was preceeded in death by his maternal grandparents Mrs. Hazel Johnson and Mr. Theodore "Low" Walker. Left to cherish his precious memoris are his parents Cedric L. Carter (Yvette) and his mother Marquita L. Johnson, brothers Brandon L. Carter and Justin M. Johnson, stepsisters Moriah Cheong and paternal grandmother Catherine Lee. Special cousins and friends, Denell, Jayla, Bianca, Sebastion, Malik, Nicholas and Amaya, you all held a special place in CJ's heart in addition to a host of loving family members and friends.

A viewing for Mr. Cedric Breyan Carter will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Services for Mr. Cedric Breyan Carter will be held 1:00 p.m Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ivy Baptist Church, 50 Maple Ave, Newport News, VA 23607.

Interment will be private.
