After graduating high school, he attended Norfolk State University and was pursuing his bachelors degree in physical therapy. His plan was to pursue a career in sports medicine.

Carlos loved his cats Apollo, Garfield, and Jaz. He always had a love for all animals and was even working at his local SPCA while in school full time. His favorite activities included working out at the gym, going to the beach, fishing, traveling, playing video games on his PS5, shopping, playing pool, cutting hair and spending time with his  friends and family.

Carlos was one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. He always prioritized family functions and events. He had a very adventurous spirit and always had fun no matter where he was. His presence lit up every room that he entered. He was very loving, dependable, goal oriented, and reliable. He was loved by all who knew him.

Carlos was a believer of Jesus Christ and loved the Lord. Although his time with us was cut short our family has comfort knowing that he is now home with the Lord. May he dwell in the house of the Lord forevermore and watch over us always until we meet again.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hampton, Virginia SPCA.
