Mr. Antonio Wilson

Mr. Antonio “Tony” Wilson, 66, passed away on July 8, 2025, in Hampton, Virginia.

Born on August 30, 1958, Tony’s journey was one of dedication to his work, to his family, and to those fortunate enough to know him.

Tony was known as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

He spent 13 years working at sea as an experienced fisherman aboard scallop boats.  Tony was also a master mechanic with over four decades of experience working on automobiles.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 23 years, Shalanda Wilson; three daughters—Meochi Palmer (47), Shayla Wilson (23), and Anna Wilson (2);

a stepson, Elijah Williams (29), and one surviving son, Anthony Wilson (13).

He is also survived by his brother Omar Wilson; sister Gloria Wilson; and one uncle Andrew McIntyre (78).

Tony was preceded in death by his beloved mother Jannie G. Wilson and by his oldest son, Antonio Palmer.

His legacy continues through his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who cherished him deeply.

It is the desire of the Wilson family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
