Master Legend Rachard Newby-Studwell

Master Legend Rachard Studwell, 6, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021.  

Legend was born on September 5, 2015, in Newport News, VA.  He had the most beautiful smile.  He was always smiling.  He was a happy child full of energy and life. He loved music and he loved to dance.  He was not shy and would quickly show off his moves when the music came on.  Greatly loved by all who knew him, in his short time on earth, Legend has touched and impacted many lives.  He was a first grader at Sanford Elementary School.

Legend was accompanied to heaven by his mother, Alexis Nicole Newby and brother, Ameyel Newby.  Preceding Legend in death are his his maternal grandmother, T’Wana R. Newby and paternal grandmother, his beloved NANA, Kendra Carson. Legend is survived by his father Cire Raeon Studwell and bonus Mom Kiana Haskett; siblings, Taylor Newby, Jariyah Brown, Lyric and La’Riek Studwell; paternal grandparents, Eric and Evangela Studwell; aunts, Cirada Carson , Spirit Pryer and Montche Newby; uncles, Trumelle Newby, Kamari Studwell, Eric Studwell Jr., Jordan Studwell , Savion Studwell and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A walk through viewing will be held 1:00p.m. -5:00pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at C.C Carter Funeral Home. Inc
