Bishop Alvin L. Valentine, husband of Mrs. Claudine Valentine and Pastor of Recovery Baptist Church, Newport News, VA, transitioned Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at his home in Newport News, VA.

It is the desire of the Valentine family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of Bishop Alvin L. Valentine has entrusted his final care to C. C. Carter Funeral Home.
