Rachard Lewis

Rachard Timothy Lewis (Shotti) was born in Newport News , VA on December 13, 1994 to Beth Lewis. At an early age, Rachard accepted Christ into his life. He was called home on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the age of 19. Rachard was affectionately known as “Shotti” or “Sha-Dawg”. He was very athletic and was involved in several sports. He was known for his bright smile. He was a comical and funny guy, known to put smiles on the faces of others, and laughter in the air. When Shotti was around, there was never a dull moment. He touched everyone’s heart that he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He leaves to cherish his memory: His loving mother Beth Lewis, Step-Father Jimmy Whitby, Grandmother Lucille, one sister Cateeda Lewis (Timmy), four brothers: Dennis Lewis of Hampton, VA, Montez Lewis of Baltimore, MD and Chenalo of Newport News, VA., Aunt and Uncles and a host of very special cousins Tyshon (Loressa), Xavier, Orlando, Lemont, Sandre, Terrell, Shawntia, Monchelle (Max), Thadtiguss, Jolyn, Derrick, Gelisa, Willie Mae, and Kim (Eddie), Keisha, and a host of family and friends. Services will be held 1:00p.m.Wednesday July 2,2014 at Calvary Revival Church Peninsula 119 29th Street Newport News. by Pastor Raymond Johnson Jr., Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Tuesday July 1,2014 from noon until 6:00p.m. at the Funeral Home. Please keep the Lewis family, in your prayers.
