Ms. Shelia White

On Saturday, December 29th Shelia Ann White received her heavenly wings.  She was born June 15, 1966 in Smithfield, VA.  She was predeceased by her father Denis White, Sr. in Smithfield, brothers Horace, Lawrence, Frank, Calvin; Sisters Lorraine Cook, Mary Anna White, Gloria White.

Shelia accepted her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age.  She was a faithful member of Ivy Baptist Church since 2009. She attended school in Smithfield, VA. After graduation she was employed at AAFES, Hand and Heart Home Health, and New Freedom Transportation until her health failed.

She was the life of a party and made friends so easily.  She loved traveling.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Julia White. She also leaves three sons Stephen White, Curtis McDaniel and Donte McDaniel, along with her siblings Donald White, Dennis White, Jr. and Elaine Wiggins, Evelyn Smith, Eloise Langley, and LaVerne White; and three granddaughters and two grandsons, a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Sheila’s life was a blessing. Her memory is a treasure. May she rest in peace.

Memorial services for Ms. White will be held 2:00p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc. by Dr. Kevin Swann.
