Mrs. Sherry Williams Parker Obituary

Sherry A. Williams Parker the daughter of William H. Williams and the late Annie Laura Williams was born July 12, 1965 in Wilson County, NC.  Through marriage, the late Doretha B. Williams was her second mother.

 

She departed this life on April 2, 2019, at Riverside Regional  Medical Center in Newport News, Va. 

 

Sherry was employed by Riverside Medical Group. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Bishop Shelton Leon Parker and three sons, Shelton Jr., Stephen, Sean and a special god-daughter Christy Pressley (Bobby). 

 

One sister Janese Bobo, three brothers: William Jr (Felicia), Darryl (Karen), Shawn Williams.  A host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, relatives and friends.

 

Services for Mrs. Sherry A. Williams Parker will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at The Messiah Center, 1421 West Pembroke Ave, Newport New, VA 23661.

 

Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.

 

A viewing will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 3314 Roanoke Ave Newport News, VA 23607.

 

A wake service will follow the viewing from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Restoration & Faith Ministry, 2114 Wickham Ave, Newport News, VA 23607. 

 

It is the desire of the Parker family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
