Mrs. Mary L. Wright was to be with the Lord, age 74, in Newport News, Virginia, on Friday, February 15, 2019. Born on June 10, 1944 in Scotland Neck, North Carolina and she lived in Newport News, Virginia.

She is preceded In death by her Mother Sue Lily Wright.

She leaves to cherish her memories one Son, Quentin Wright with fiancée, Ludmila Sousa, & one Daughter, Larissa Wright, four Sisters Betty Jean Outen, Nannie Lee Pittman, Arine Moody, & Alice Johnson (Michael), Grandsons, Ah’Mari C. Wright, Benjamin Y. Sparkman, & David Y. Wright, Granddaughter Sierra K. Hardy, & step-granddaughters Danieala & Jennifer Martinez, & a host of nieces & nephews.

Services for Mrs. Mary Wright will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 by Pastor  Dianne Carr at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 3314 Roanoke Ave Newport News, VA 23607.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A viewing for Mrs. Mary Wright will be held from noon to 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home.
