My Wing
I never thought my heart could be broken into pieces
I never knew he level of anger oneself could reach
I've never felt so much pain running through my chest
The thought of you being gone is killing my soul
But I know your spirit has laid to rest
My umbrella in the rain, she was the picture to my frame
Beautiful angel in the sky
Can't wait to meet you there so we can fly beyond high
Always encouraged me to be my best at anything
If I ever was to cry, it was a shoulder she'd bring
My Wing
Guardian angel looking down on me
Beautiful black woman God placed upon thee
Body, soul and mind set free to positive energy
She breathes
Therefore I breathe and as I open my eyes now I see
That you never left me
You'd never leave me
Hurt me nor deceive me
She is the air I breathe
That brightness in the sky
The breeze blowing through my window
A glorious ray in the sky
Always there to pick me up whenever I amy fall
Not only a loving grandmother but a friend I could call
My wing
Love,
H'Taeh Williams
