Mrs. Marilyn Williams Obituary

Mrs. Marilyn Williams transitioned peacefully on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Riverside Regional Hospital in Newport News, Va. She was born August 24, 1955 to the late Younger Marshall Monroe Sr. and Mary Monroe. 

 

Mrs. Marilyn Williams attended Carver High School and later became certified as a nurses"s aide, which eventually lead her to became a long term employee for the city of Newport News Parks and Recreation. Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt, and great aunt. It was nothing that she would not do for anyone.

 

Marilyn was preceded in death by her sisters Nealie Ann Robinson and Elsie Elizabeth Alston. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving husband Fred Douglas Williams, her devoted brother Younger Marshall Monroe Jr. Her faithful nieces Tiffany Alston, and Sherrell Alston. Her caring nephew Harold Alston (Tonya). Her compasionate brother-in-law Harold Thomas Alston, great nieces Tashauna, Shakirah, and Diamond. As well as her great nephews Adore', and Dynari, her great great niece Dynasty, and a god son Donte Rogers, along with a host of extened family members and Friends.

 

It is the desire of the Williams family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

 

A memorial service will be held 2:00p.m. Monday, Febuary 4, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 3314 Roanoke Ave, Newport News, VA 23607.

 

The family of the late Mrs. Marilyn Williams has entrusted her final care to the staff at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
