Mrs. Gertrude Mizelle

Mrs. Gertrude Mizzelle  born of parents Lillian Anderson and Frank Pelham Sr. on December 28,1938, passed on July 25,2018 at 3:00pm at the Williamsburg Hospice House, a place where it seems like heaven on earth. She grew up and  attended school in Suffolk, Virginia. She married Kelsey Mizzelle in 1960, and born 2 children Kelsey Mizzelle Jr. and Carl A. Mizzelle. 

She enjoyed baking, sewing and collecting coins. She was employed by Planters Life Saver until retirement. So loving to everyone especially her family and would give you her last. She brought love and joy to us all and will surely be missed.
 

She is preceded by her mother Lillian Anderson and father Frank Pelham Sr., all of her siblings, Mary Lee Pelham, Lorrain Pelham, Lilly Mae Langhorne, and Frank Pelham Jr.
She is survived by her sons Kelsey Mizzelle Jr. of Hampton, Va. Carl Mizzelle (Tameka) of Hampton, Va. and grandchildren Ashemma Wilkins of Smithfield,Va. Trina Mizzelle of Suffolk,Va. Jeremiah Mizzelle (Kristle) of Smithfield< Va. Joshua Mizzelle of New York,Savaughn Brown- Mizzelle, Breon Davis Mizzelle and grand-cat Max all of Hampton, Va. 

Great grandchildren Rahjewel Mizzelle, Nakihya Goodman, Rihanna Goodman, Caiyun Mizzelle, Jaylen Mizzelle, Shaytwon Johnson and Jacobie Johnson.

Services for Mrs. Mizzell will be held noon Thursday, August 2, 2018 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home. Inc.

Viewing for Mrs. Mizell will be held two hours prior to service.
