Mrs. Doris Marie Branch

Mrs. Doris Marie Branch of Hampton, VA answered the Master's call peacefully on August 2, 2019. She was born in Franklinton County, NC on Febuary 1, 1953 to the late James O. Gales and Betty G. Holmes. She received her education with the Hampton School System and Thomas Nelson Community College. Doris was affilitated with and Mother of Living Word Outreach Ministry of Winton, NC and Attendee of Bethel Temple Church in Hampton, VA.

Doris, a GOD fearing, virtuous, devoted, kind and compassionate woman is genuinely loved by her family and many friends. She leaves in Gods care and to cherish her memory and legacy her husband Charles E. Branch III, three sons, Calvin A Branch (Francina) Charles E. Branch IV (Marnecia), Lorenzo R. Branch (Monique) ans a special niece Nicole Jones (Jamaal). Doris is survived by her sisters Kathleen McBride, Sylvia Barbour (Curtis), Sheila Gales, Portia Lawless (Robert), LaDona Williams (Alex), Annie Wayland, Ellen Williams and Vonda Hines; her brothers James Gales, Bobby Mills (Carolyn) and preceded in death by Robert Perry; nine grandchildren, four great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff od Riverside Regional Medical Center for the excellent support and care of Mrs. Branch, family and friends.

A viewing for Mrs. Doris Marie Branch will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road, Hampton Virginia by Dr. Christopher C. Carter, Sr.

Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
