Mrs. Delores Bunch Wallace mother Mrs. Sarah Daniel - Harris , Ms. Angela Harris, Mr. Anthony Scott, Jr., and Mr. Aaron Foster transitioned on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at Sentara Careplex. Hampton, VA.

Mrs. Delores A. "Sister" Bunch-Wallace departed this life to be with the Lord on October 10, 2018 at Sentara Careplex Hospital, Hampton, VA. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.

Sister was born on August 4, 1952 to George and Curly Mae Bunch. She attented public school in the Newport News School System. She was united in matrimony to the late Arthur Harris and to this union was born two beautiful daughters, Sarah Harris-Daniels and Angela R. Harris. In 1986 she met and married the late great Deacon Gary Wallace. They shared a special, loving, unbreakable bond until he was called home in Glory in 2007.

Sister accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and joined New Convenant under the leadership of  Dr. Mary E. King. She later joined True Deliverance and Praise Ministry under the leadership of Apostle George and her sister Mary Rouser. She was on the Usher Board, Youth Ministry, and the Pastoral Aid Board. She was faithful and supported the church in any way she could. She loved working for the Lord and cooking for church functions.

Sister worked for Good Ground, Good Seed until her health challenges prevented her from working. She was a fighter; never allowing her health to control the quality of her life. She attended worship service and family activities as well as maintained good spirits while trusting God, to keep her through it all. She was very feisty. To know Sister was to love her because she had the biggest heart you would ever encounter. 

Sister was preceded in death by her parents George and Curly Mae Bunch, her husband Gary Wallace, brother Arthur Bunch, and her sisters Mary Rouser and Gloria Bunch.

She leaves to cherish her legacy and memories, her beloved daughters Sarah Harris-Daniel (Fiance' Eugene Peters), Angela Harris, Nickole Harris and Kimbery Harris,  two sons Anthony Scott Jr. (Fiance' Andrea Robinson), and Aaron Foster, five grandchildren Dontrell Harris, Charquinta Harris, Marke'e Daniel, Zimielle Daniel and Tierra Peters., six great-grands Dontrell Jr. Ja'Vion, Demani, Chloe, Kenaya and NavaeCezard., four God children: six sisters Sarah "Jean" Bunch-Jones (Kenny), Rose Bunch, Joann Swann (Phillip), Curly Miller (Bill), Felicia Bunch (fiance' Keith) and Gina Bunch, and three brothers George Bunch, Johnnie Bunch and Jamie Bunch.

Services for Mrs. Wallace will be held 1:00p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church 1415 Big Bethel Rd. Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr. Pastor- Bishop George Rouser Eulogist. 

Interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wallace will lie in state two hours prior to service at New Hope Baptist Church.
