Mrs. Cleo P. Thomas Kelley

Cleo “Ne Ne” P. Thomas-Kelley, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2019, in Hampton, Virginia.  She was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia and was the oldest sibling out of five.  In 1975, Cleo graduated from Ferguson High School.   Cleo was a former member of First Baptist Church Morrison for many years.  At the time of her death, she was a member of Christ Temple Holiness Church. 

Cleo was preceded in death by her late husband, William Leon Kelley.  

She is survived by her two sons, Avery and Cleon Thomas, granddaughter, Amaya, her three sisters: Cecelia Thomas, Shelly Gholson (Robbie), Sherry Moore, one brother,  Freddie E. Brown (Jurica), sister-in-law, Deborah Banks (James), two brothers-in-law, Leroy Kelley (Anna) and Robert Kelley (Debra), a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family, and friends 

A viewing for Mrs. Cleo P. Thomas Kelley will be held from noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Christ Temple Holiness Church.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Christ Temple Holiness Church, 4416 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, Virginia by Pastor Jesse Burkhalter.

A repast will immediately follow the service at Northampton Community Center, 1435 Todds Lane Building A. Hampton, Virginia.

Interment will take place 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
