Mr. William Fonville

Mr. William Fonville (Bubba) was the son of Mr. William Fonville Sr. and Mrs. Christine Fonville.

He was born February 2, 1953 in Newport News, VA. He departed this life on March 23, 2019.

Bubba attended elementary school and high school in Newport News and later went to Job Corps. He was employed with Davis Boat Works and the Newport News Ship Yard. Williams hobbies were fishing, singing, dressing, walking, telling jokes and laughing. He also loved to cook and he enjoyed the great outdoors.

William had a love for his family that could only be matched by their love for him. William will be greatly missed by all.

William is survived by three children (one son and two daughters), and a devoted special friend Diane Barrow with whom he shared a lifetime, as well as a host of cousins and dear friends.

Services for Mr. William Fonville will be held noon Monday, April 1, 2019 at New Hope baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road Hampton, VA. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr., 

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
