“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5
Tyree Lamar Spady completed his earthly journey unexpectedly on Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Newport News, VA and entered into eternal peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Tyree was born on March 25, 2001 to Terry Spady and Tarsha Joyner in Hampton, VA. He was educated in the Newport News, VA public school system and graduated from Heritage High School in June 2019. While at Heritage, Tyree formed a special relationship with many teachers and students and was well liked by many.
Tyree accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Fountain Baptist Church in Hampton, VA. While at FBC he participated in many Christmas, Easter and Black History programs.
Tyree had a very warm and caring personality. He was the big brother to all children and would often stoop to their level while playing with them. Little ones like his cousin Eriyanna would light up like a Christmas tree whenever he entered the room. Tyree also did anything and everything that was asked of him by adults, no matter how dirty the job was without murmuring and complaining. He was a joker, and a well mannered young man. He loved to sleep and hated to travel long distances. Tyree will be missed by all.
Tyree was predeceased by a sister Brianna Joyner, grandfathers Samuel Joyner, Jr. and George Thomas, and grandmother, Lawrence Spady.
He leaves to cherish his memory: mother - Tarsha Aursby (Clayton) NNVA; father - Terry Spady (fiance Amanda) NNVA; 2 brothers - Jeremiah Joyner NNVA and Terry Fitchett (Norfolk, VA); grandmother - Cheryl Joyner NNVA; great-grandmother - Edith Horton NNVA; 3 sisters - Jayda Joyner, Miracle and Terryonna Spady all of NNVA; uncles - Terry Joyner (Arlynne) NNVA, Antonio Joyner Hampton, VA, Larry Spady (Shelia), William Spady (Katherine) Hampton, VA, and Theron Spady (Trenton, NJ); 3 Aunts – Tawanna Phillips (Eric) Tampa, FL, Shelia and Florence Spady of Eastern Shore, VA; 1 niece – Kamiyah, god-Mother - Betty Joyner Hampton, VA; and a host of great aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and a multitude of friends.
Our family chain is broken and nothing is the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
