On September 25, 2018 God called home a father, son, brother, and friend Ricky Lee Battle. He was born in Nashville, North Carolina on September 12, 1960 to the late Ethel Jenkins Page and James Stample.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Turquoise Gregory and one brother David Perry.
He leaves to cherish the memories of his smile, five daughters Neshaeka Harkless(Chantwan), Topaz Gregory, Amanda Burns, Jewel Gregory, and Alexis Gregory, two sons Ricky Hines and Zachary Hines. He also leaves behind seven brothers Raymond Perry (Regina) Timothy Perry, Williams Jenkins (Darlene), Tyrone Jenkins ( Debra), Steve Jenkins, Ray Jenkins, and Ronnie Stample. Three sisters Linda Jenkins, Loneita Stample Battle and Tineshia Stample Arrington along with 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 14 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services for Mr. Ricky Battle will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Bethel A.M.E Church, 94 Lincoln Street Hampton, VA. by Rev. Andre P. Jefferson, Sr.
Viewing for Mr. Ricky Battle will commence Thursday, October 4, 2018 from noon until 5:00pm at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc. 3314 Roanoke Ave Newport News, VA.
