Mr. Raekwon Peterson

Raekwon Antonio Peterson was called by God to his heavenly home July 12, 2019. Raekwon better known as “Rae Rae” was born on August 5, 2001 to Vionne Buggs and Benjamin Peterson in Hampton, Virginia.  

Rae Rae played football for Dorie Miller Community and Aberdeen Recreation League.  He was educated in the Hampton School System.  He attended and graduated from Hampton High School, June 2019.  He was a hard working young man with two jobs at Captain D's and Kraven Kharacters.  The latter was to be his legacy. Rae was a outgoing, smart, a jokester and dedicated to his family. Rae was also easy going, laid back and enjoyed life to the fullest.  He loved his sister and brother to the moon and back. He was his fathers twin and a real daddy's boy. Raekwon cherished his friends an loved them dearly.

Raekwon was preceded in death by his grandmother Charlene Peterson. He also leaves to cherish his memories his parents Vionne D. Buggs and Benjamin P. Peterson, sister Aliceonne Whigham, brother Wade Bumpers,aunts Tiara and Isis Peterson, Carolyn Grober , uncles Pierre Clark (Shavonne), Alvin Buggs (Diane), grandparents Khalil Sadiki, DenyceTate Clark (Michael), great grandparents Helen Buggs Badgett (Henry), Benjamin Brice . aunt Tiara and Isis Peterson, and uncle Pierre Clark (Shavonne), grandparents Denyce Tate Clark (Michael Harris), grandfather Benjamin Brice. He also leaves cherish his best friends Makayla Tynes, Jahaun Wilson, Qaison Wilson, and Que Hunter. Also a host of family and friends. 

Viewing for Mr. Peterson wll be held 1:00p.m until 4:00p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc.

Services for Mr. Peterson will be held 3:00p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church 1415 Big Bethel Rd. Hampton. VA. by Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr.,
