Mr. Matthew Ashley Sr., transitioned on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at North Shore University Hospital. Manhasset, NY.

Services for Mr. Ashley will be held 11:00a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Gethsemane Baptist Church 5405 Roanoke Ave, Newport News, by Dr. Dwight Riddick Sr.,

Entombment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ashley will lie in state two hours prior to service at the church only.

It is the desire of the Ashley family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The family of the late Mr. Matthew Ashley Sr., has entrusted his final care to the staff of C. C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
