Mr. Luther Moore Obituary

Mr. Luther Earl Moore Jr. transitioned peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at home in Newport News, Virginia. He was the son of the late Luther Moore and Mattie J. Moore.

He leaves those to cherish his memory to his sons; Mr. Darrick Jones (Tramaine) of Hampton, VA and Jon Eric Smith of Newport News, VA; two brothers, Mr. Charles Moore (Diane) of Newport News, VA and Mr. Rickey Moore (Janice) of Stafford, VA: one sister, Mrs. Belvin A. Hill of Newport News, VA; six grandchildren. Nine great-grand children and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friend

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA, by Dr Christopher C. Carter Sr.,

Interment with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

A viewing for Mr. Luther Moore will be held from noon until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at C.C. Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
