Mr. Linwood "Butch' Harper husband of  Mrs. Yvonne Harper  and a member of the City of Hampton School Board. Transitioned on Thursday , March 15, 2018 at Sentara Careplex. Hampton, VA. in the presence of his family. 

Services for Mr. Harper will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018  at New Hope Baptist Church  1415 Big Bethel Rd. Hampton, VA.  Dr. Christopher C. Carter Sr.,  - Pastor.  Dr. Jeffrey O. Smith -  Superintendent Of Hampton City Schools, will deliver eulogy. 

Interment with United States Air  Force  military honors will be held at  10:00a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Hampton National Cemetery. (Phoebus Section ) Hampton, VA  

Viewing for Mr  Harper will be held from noon until 6:00p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 at C. C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
