Mr. John Jones Obituary
Mr. John R. Jones age 86 passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sentara Hospital. He was born in Newport News and attended Newport News Public Schools. He was a resident of Hampton. He was married to the (late) Mrs. Augusta B. Jones.
He leaves to mourn his passing two sons, Aubrey and Desmond Jones (Stephanie); his brothers Eldridge Jones (Oknyo), Walter Jones Jr. and Alton Jones (Ruby). Two Sisters Willie Eley and Constance Hart, Seven Grandchildren and host of family and friends.
Services for Mr. Jones will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday , November 21, at Gethsemane Baptist Church 5405 Roanoke Ave. Newport News, Va, Rev. Dr. Dwight Riddick, Sr. Pastor.
Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
Viewing for Mr. Jones will be held from Noon until 5:00p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at C.C.Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
