Mother Mary Taylor Obituary
Mother Mary C. Taylor peacefully transitioned on February 7, 2018. She was born on January 1, 1926 in King William County, Virginia to the late Elmer and Daisy Starnes Claiborne. She was a member and one of the mothers of St. Johns Church of God in Christ for over 50 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Dyan Vinson (Robert); her granddaughter, Terri Crudup; two great-grands, Tiara Coleman and Aaron Coleman; and two great-great-grandchildren, Terrion Jones and Isaiah Coleman.
Viewing will be Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at C. C. Carter Funeral Home, 3314 Roanoke Ave., Newport News, VA.
Home Going Celebration is schedule for Monday, February 12, 2018, 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton, VA. By Elder Samuel Green III. Interment will follow at National Cemetery, University Section. Hampton, Virginia.
