Mr. James H. Eley

James Harold Eley was born on March 20, 1951, in Newport News Virginia to the late Mildred Eley. James was the fourth child of nine children. James was known to all as (Junior).

He attended the Public High school system in Newport News Virginia and graduated from Huntington High School. He left Newport News Virginia and enlisted into the Air Force. James served four years and ranked to sergeant with a Honorable discharge.

James (Junior) returned to Newport News Virginia when he continued to dedicate his services, He worked at the VA Medical Center in Hampton Virginia. He retired after forty years working in Maintenance.

James (Junior) spent his later years engaging in his favorite sports. He loved the Redskins Football team, Fishing, collecting Watches and Cars. He was known to spend time at Saunders Motor Company discussing cars.

Mr. James Eley (Junior) leaves behind his only living Aunt Mary Brown. Siblings Brenda Crews, Beverly Sue Hampton, Deloris Dudley (Predeceased), Patricia Eley, Elva Sheard-Jackson, brother- in-law Dexter Jackson, Shelia Sheard-Mayes, brother-in law Eugene Mayes, Tryone Sheard and Yvette Sheard. James also leaves behind a host of nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
